On the Bottle/ At the beach.

Long time between posts! Jeepers creepers, I have grown and changed so much, people may not recognise me! I even hold my own bottle now.

There hasn't really been a lot going on but the daily grind. Mum has got me into a pretty good routine. Although the mornings are early, we seem to run pretty smoothly.

I went to the beach for the first time the other day. Got the sand between my feet and pretty much everywhere else. I didn't venture into the surf as the water is too cold now and they don't make wetsuits my size. Roll on summer.

My First Big Trip

I went on an Aeroplane for the first time last week. Dad and Mum and I went to Melbourne to catch up with the Family. I found flying a breeze, I was asleep before we took off on the way down and back. I woke up just as we were coming through the clouds. No crying at all. It was a huge night on friday night with about 20 people around at Dobbies, Jane, Marg, Nelly, Kate, Pip, Dave, Josh, Kym, Matt, Stav, Trude, Dobbie, Pop, Baxter, Mackenzie, Mum, Dad and Me. Oh, and Dina dropped in too. Mum and Dad didn't seem to get any pics though. No doubt somebody did and maybe could forward to Dad so he can post them. Anyway, here is a few pics of the day after.

Busy!

Life is becoming a lot busier. Had a busy week at day care, settling in there ok so everything is good. Dad had to work at an Italian restaurant promotion event on the weekend. Very busy all weekend. I caught up with him towards the end and checked out what had been going on. Here is the pic.

I have started at Day Care!

This week, I started day care, after a couple of false starts, its now all happening. A little unsettled and apprehensive to start, but I will slowly get my head around it. Here is a pic of me fine tuning my artistic inklings.

Blog Changes

You may have noticed, I have worked out how to incorporate a bit of video in my blog......clever.
Anyway, the footy tipping section is gone, cause I reckon I am also gone in the Tipping Comp. It's been replaced with a links section to videos past. Click the link, you will be transported to you tube and subjected to an exclusive showing of that Video.........clever.

Remys Christening and My new Chair

I had my second round of immunisations the other day. I got a needle in each thigh and had to gobble down some medicine as well. Again, I handled it pretty well, just a few seconds of crying. My doctor weighed me and measured me, I am almost 8kg so I have doubled in weight in just over 4 Months. All my percentiles are at 75 so it's all looking pretty good.

In just under two weeks, I start at the day care centre full time. The day care people had a delay with the building, I should have been in there a month ago. I have had two weeks of Dobbie looking after me, a week last week with Dad looking after me, this week Thelma looked after me on Monday and Tuesday, then Dad for the rest of the week. Thelma is looking after me again on Monday and Tuesday next week, then Dobbie is back again for the rest of next week. It's a bit like pass the parcel but I suppose it is good that I get used to different people handling me cause everything changes again once I am in day care.

I got a new high chair the other day which is really fantastic there is a pic here of me sitting in it and being very happy. We went to Remy Van Stoms combined 1 year birthday and christening last Saturday. There is a pic here of Michael, Katrina, Luca and Remy Van Stom, Remy is the littlest one. I am certainly getting to meet a lot of other kids, although, I always seem to be the youngest and because I can't walk or crawl, or even sit up by myself yet, I tend to hang out in my pram and snooze a lot. Anyway, thats it for now. I'll catch up with you soon, love, JB.

The Chaos Continues

It's still pretty crazy here, been extremely busy when I'm not sleeping, which is a lot of the time. I surprise myself that I actually do get the things achieved that i do! I promised another post in a short time with more pics, and here it is. Uncle Steve Khanna is going home to Canada tomorrow, I'll be sad to see him go. He has been really good to me. I also need to thank Grandma and Grandpa Khanna for filling up his suitcase with more clothes for me. Big Hugs to Grandma and Grandpa.

Baxter, Steve, Dad and Mum went to the footy on last Sunday in Peter Dunkleys corporate box, they had a great time and it was a real eye opener for Uncle Steve. The Dunkleys also gave me one of Bens old Toys, which is just blowing me away. Its a fantastic jumper thing which really gets me excited. Anyway, just a quick post, will be back again soon. cheers ,JB.

Full House!

I know it has been two weeks since my last post, and I have been copping a lot of grief for such a big gap, but it's been real busy. So, seeings it has been so busy, I have lots to report and lots of pics, so, there will be two posts in a short time to make up for it. I better start at the top. Uncle Steve Khanna arrived fron Canada on the 29th of June and was looking after me the moment he got off the plane, cause Mum had to go to a meeting. Dobbie arrived on Saturday the 30th June. Dobbie is here for two weeks to look after me because the crache isn't ready for me. Thank God for Dobbie, or I don't know what would have happened to me. Dobbie had a great story to tell when she got here. She was in first class and sat next to the yellow "Wiggle" Murray. All the other wiggles were in the plane to, but Dobbie sat next Murray the Yellow one. Also, at the airport were Bob, Bindi and Terri Irwin, the crocodile Hunters, Unreal! My Cousin Baxter arrived a few days after that as well, the first time I have met him as well. It is all happening and it is a very full house here but it is heaps of fun.

Kaila's Christening

Kaila Tuckfield got christened on the weekend, we went out to Abbotsford for the ceremony and then to the Tuckfields place for a bit of a celebration. It was good fun with Liam and Kaila, and their cousins from Ireland. Later on, Jack and Ella turned up as well. Uncle Will cooked a suckling pig, all the grown ups looked like they enjoyed it immensely. The weather fined up for the day which was great, butthen it turned bad again on Sunday and has been bad ever since. Dad has been looking after me at home three days per week which has been fantastic. He looks after me a lot differently to Mum! Uncle Steve Khanna from Canada arrives on Thursday. I haven't met him yet, but I sure am looking forward to it. Dobbie arrives on Saturday as well for two weeks to look after me while Mum and Dad are at work. After that, I was suppose to go into day care, but the day care people haven't finished the building so there will be a two week delay. Mum and Dad are not sure what they are going to do with me, I'm sure they will work it out though. Anyway, here are some pics from Kaila's christening. Cheerio for now, JB.

Winter is here

It's gotten really cold the last week or so, I am finally able to wear a lot of the clothes I have. All my jackets and jumpers and my beanie as well. Mum Starts work next week, just 3 days per week for the rest of June and then full time again. Dad is going to look after me during the day while Mum is getting back into work and then when Mum goes full time, Dobbie is going to come up for a couple of weeks to look after me. After that, I'm off to day care. The day care centre is brand new and is just up the hill a bit from Mums new work. So, Mum will be able to come and have lunch with me everyday. Had another shocker on my footy tips, I'm 4 points of the pace now. I am going to have to really concentrate if I want to be in with a chance.

Because the weather has been so bad, floods, thunderstorms, lots of rain and hail and snow on the alps, I haven't been able to get out and about much. The weather is set to stay pretty bad too, so aside from me grabbing at anything that comes into range and learning how to have a good old belly laugh, I don't think there will be much happening. Anyway, thats it for now. All the best, JB.

Farewell Aunty Jen

Jeepers Creepers! It was a pretty big weekend, well, for Mum and Dad anyway. Auntie Jen has moved to Melbourne and had her going away party on Saturday Afternoon/night. Mum and Dad also went to the footy with Dunks and Mel after having drinks with Jen and then again after the footy. Thelma looked after me during all this, but I have to admit, I slept through most of it again. Anyway, considering it was such a big Saturday night, it's no surprise that Sunday was quiet, We went to the Mall for the weekly shopping and then just watched Movies and Footy on Sunday afternoon.

I had another shocker on the footy tips but I'm not deterred, I'm still within striking distance and It's early days yet.

Cheesey Weekend

Big Cheese weekend in Sydney. Mum went out to lunch with Tammy and Jen on Saturday, it was Tammy's birthday, happy birthday Tammy! I had to spend the whole afternoon with Dad. Wasn't too bad, I went easy on him and just slept alot. Sunday we went into the cheese show, very smelly, but once I got used to it, I was able to snooze pretty much the whole time. Apart from that, steady as she goes.

Happy Mothers Day!

Mothers Day weekend, first one for my Mum and me too. I got my beautiful Mum a really nice silver and gold ring to show here how much I love her and appreciate how much she does for me everyday. She is a champ!

It was a pretty quiet weekend, Dad cooked a roast dinner on Saturday night and Scrambled eggs for Brekky for Mum on Sunday. We went down to the Rocks and went to the market and then down to the Fishmarket. Caught up with a few of Dads mates on the way back. I had a good result from the footy tips, managed to keep myself in second place on the footy tipping competition, one point off the lead. Not as much pressure on me now, but I hope to consolidate my position next week. Mum and I went pramming around Paddington on Saturday and she found this Vintage rocket pictured next to me. On the other side is the Bottle of Grange Hermitage that Guy, Jane, Ella and Jack gave me when i was born. Not allowed to drink it until I'm 21 though. I don't reckonit would be as good as the bottles my Mum gives me anyway.

The other pic is me having a bit of a snooze in Mum and dads bed while I was waiting for Mum to get ready in the morning.

I feel like a pin cushion

Had my 2 month immunisation shots today. I was fairly apprehensive about this but I must say, I stood it like a man. I cry more when I'm hungry! Piece of cake! It was my cousin Mackenzies birthday today, happy birthday Kenz! Hope you had a good one. I'm going to try and catch up with her tomorrow on the web cam. Anyway, busy day, all over the place, Mothers group, then visit to Doctor Frumar, who was happy with everything and then pin cushion time. By the time i got home, I was ready to call it a day.
I had an absolute shocker on the footy tips last week, its a lot of pressure for a young bloke like me to be on the top of the tippers ladder, I think it got to me a bit. Anyway, I am determined to be back on top this week.
This is a picture of me doing my best Bob Hawk impression.

Dobbie and Pop came to visit.

Cuddlefest again, made even more special by my ability to crack a smile, have a giggle, squawk and make funny baby noises while waving my hands around uncontrollably. Dobbie and Pop were great fun and they really put Daddy to work sorting out the backyard and the gardening! Mum was very happy with the result. We had Yum Cha again on Sunday, there were sixteen of us at the table, good turn out.

Elynn was in town as well and stopped by for a visit, Couple of drinks in the newly cleaned up backyard, it was all good.

I'm off to get my immunisation shots tomorrow, not sure what it is all about, but I don't think I like the sound of it. I am also going with Mum to see Doctor Frumar (he gave me a hand getting born.) He is just making sure Mum has recovered well after the ordeal I put her through.

On The Bottle

Two Months on...

...and it's all about BIGGER things.
Bigger bottles - with bigger nappies to fill. Bigger clothes - I've grown 10cm since I've arrived (and now weight 5.5kg)! Bigger bed - out of the bassinette and into the cot. Bigger car seat - the capsule is now in Dad's Monaro for backup cruising. And, bigger screams - to let Mum and Dad know I need full attention.

Mmmh, well, maybe it's not all about bigger things, development is on the list of priorities. I have hands and a great need to riggle out of my wraps to wave them! Moving things when I'm excited is fun too. I'm really alert now and can recognise my favorite cuddles. Tummy Time is paying off and my head is strong and can turn from side to side. Can't wait until I can can sit up with a few props! A routine / pattern is present - yah know, eat>play>sleep every four hours, a bit longer sleeps at night to give the olds a break.
Had some visitors during the week - Lois who is 15 months came by and gave me pressies and kisses (love it when the ladies shower me, xx). Colin and Tammy came over Saturday night and watched me sleep while Mum and Dad went to the Footy - apparently Mum wanted Melbourne to win, and Dad wanted Sydney; they couldn't decide on which jumper to bring me home so I might have to wait until the end end of season outcome :(
Dobbie and Pop are coming for the a few days this weekend, yeah Dobbie cuddles!
[PS - check out my Air Jordan cap from Uncle Canada Steve. How cool am I?]

Is somebody Messing with my blog?

Something strange is going on with my blog. My pictures keep disappearing and I don't know whats going on. Bare with me while i get to the bottom of it. Sorry.

UPDATE

Looks like whatever happened to my blog earlier this week has sorted itself out, however, Mum was messing around trying to get it sorted out and deleted a whole heap of pics, obviously, they have gone into cyberspace somewhere. Dad will be home later and will sort it all out again and probably put some new stuff up. Amelias party tomorrow, so there is bound to be some new pics by the end of the weekend.

Cheerio for now, JB.

The New Normal

It has been a busy six weeks, thats how long I have been around now. Seems like we have had a never ending stream of visitors which has been great. Dad says now things are settling down a bit, we are now experincing the "new normal" as far as our lives go. We had a pretty quiet weekend which was great. Dad went to the footy on Sunday, and that was pretty much it for the activities. Of course, we went shopping and stuff but generally, it was quiet around these parts aside from my ocassional screams when i wanted more food. Next weekend is Amelias 3rd Birthday, so we should have some more party pics to post. In the meantime, you'll have to settle for these. You see that little dark spot on my cheek? I think Dad has a bit of crap on his camera lens. I'll get him to clean it before he takes any more pics.

A day at the Sydney Rowing Club with Liam & Kaila

On Easter Bunny Sunday, we all piled into Mums car and went out to Sydney Rowing Club near Uncle Will and Auntie Annes place for lunch. Guy was there and Col and Tammy turned up later. We had seafood platters and drinks in the garden overlooking the river. Nice day, I slept through most of it though. So, thats Liam and Uncle Will with Dad and Uncle Stav and Kaila above. You like the cool cardigan Grandma and Grandpa Khanna gave me. Its got cool suede patches on the elbows so i don't wear them out.
