Two Months on...

...and it's all about BIGGER things.
Bigger bottles - with bigger nappies to fill. Bigger clothes - I've grown 10cm since I've arrived (and now weight 5.5kg)! Bigger bed - out of the bassinette and into the cot. Bigger car seat - the capsule is now in Dad's Monaro for backup cruising. And, bigger screams - to let Mum and Dad know I need full attention.

Mmmh, well, maybe it's not all about bigger things, development is on the list of priorities. I have hands and a great need to riggle out of my wraps to wave them! Moving things when I'm excited is fun too. I'm really alert now and can recognise my favorite cuddles. Tummy Time is paying off and my head is strong and can turn from side to side. Can't wait until I can can sit up with a few props! A routine / pattern is present - yah know, eat>play>sleep every four hours, a bit longer sleeps at night to give the olds a break.
Had some visitors during the week - Lois who is 15 months came by and gave me pressies and kisses (love it when the ladies shower me, xx). Colin and Tammy came over Saturday night and watched me sleep while Mum and Dad went to the Footy - apparently Mum wanted Melbourne to win, and Dad wanted Sydney; they couldn't decide on which jumper to bring me home so I might have to wait until the end end of season outcome :(
Dobbie and Pop are coming for the a few days this weekend, yeah Dobbie cuddles!
[PS - check out my Air Jordan cap from Uncle Canada Steve. How cool am I?]

Is somebody Messing with my blog?

Something strange is going on with my blog. My pictures keep disappearing and I don't know whats going on. Bare with me while i get to the bottom of it. Sorry.

UPDATE

Looks like whatever happened to my blog earlier this week has sorted itself out, however, Mum was messing around trying to get it sorted out and deleted a whole heap of pics, obviously, they have gone into cyberspace somewhere. Dad will be home later and will sort it all out again and probably put some new stuff up. Amelias party tomorrow, so there is bound to be some new pics by the end of the weekend.

Cheerio for now, JB.

The New Normal

It has been a busy six weeks, thats how long I have been around now. Seems like we have had a never ending stream of visitors which has been great. Dad says now things are settling down a bit, we are now experincing the "new normal" as far as our lives go. We had a pretty quiet weekend which was great. Dad went to the footy on Sunday, and that was pretty much it for the activities. Of course, we went shopping and stuff but generally, it was quiet around these parts aside from my ocassional screams when i wanted more food. Next weekend is Amelias 3rd Birthday, so we should have some more party pics to post. In the meantime, you'll have to settle for these. You see that little dark spot on my cheek? I think Dad has a bit of crap on his camera lens. I'll get him to clean it before he takes any more pics.

A day at the Sydney Rowing Club with Liam & Kaila

On Easter Bunny Sunday, we all piled into Mums car and went out to Sydney Rowing Club near Uncle Will and Auntie Annes place for lunch. Guy was there and Col and Tammy turned up later. We had seafood platters and drinks in the garden overlooking the river. Nice day, I slept through most of it though. So, thats Liam and Uncle Will with Dad and Uncle Stav and Kaila above. You like the cool cardigan Grandma and Grandpa Khanna gave me. Its got cool suede patches on the elbows so i don't wear them out.

JB does Yum Cha

Easter Bunny Saturday, Mum, Dad, Uncle Stav, Aunty Trudy, Aunty Jen, Libby, Col, Tammy and myself, went to Zilver Restaurant for Yum Cha. Wow, what a lot of people at one table, everybody was eating pigs, ducks and prawns in all manner of weird ways. As usual, I got handed around the table as well. Dad was going to put a pic in but he can't seem to find the ones at Yum cha, he will have to come back to it when he finds it. His one of me with Auntie Jen in the meantime.

Easter Bunny is coming!

Somebody mentioned something the other day about the Easter Bunny coming, not sure what it's all about, but I'm sure I will find out soon enough. Uncle Stav and Auntie Trudy are coming to vist this Easter Bunny weekend as well, It will be a busy time. I think we are going to meet up with Dan and Mark and their new baby Sachi. Its gunna be busy allright!

Dobbie reckons I look like uncle Steve Khanna in this pic, what do you think??

Bon Voyage Grandma.

They say all good things must come to an end. Grandma Khanna had to go back to Canada, so the cuddlefest is over, just a few more at the airport and I'll have to make do with what I can get out of Mum and Dad and whoever else visits. It was very early in the morning when Grandma Khanna had to catch the plane, I still had my pyjamas on. However, I was first up on the morning Grandma had to go, like most mornings. Dad calls me the human alarm clock, dunno what he is talking about.

This pic was taken just before Grandma had to get on the plane.

Out and About- Darling Harbour

We went down to Darling Harbour for a bit of a look and a bite to eat. Well, Mum, Dad and Grandma Khanna had a bite to eat, I had a bottle. You can't see me in this pic because I am in the pram having a nap.

Coping with the Sydney Heat & Humidity

While Grandma Khanna was here, we had some really hot and sticky weather, I found it much easier to cope by getting my shirt off and doing what I do best, having a nap.

Canadian Cuddlefest!

Grandma Khanna arrived from Canada, and wow, its just been one big cuddlefest since she got here. Its been really good cause Mum& Dad have been able to have a little bit of a rest. We have been out and about a bit too. Grandma Khanna will be here for almost two weeks so there will be plenty more cuddles I'm sure.
